E-clic is the new digital desk to contact Social Security

The e-Clic Desk allows citizens and companies to interact with Social Security through a single and direct channel. It was designed to improve the experience in dealing with Social Security. It is available permanently and can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smartphone. This new channel strengthens the rights of citizens and companies, ensuring a simpler, swifter, dematerialised and closer communication.

To use e-Clic, you simply need to have access to the Social Security Online Service (SSD – Segurança Social Direta). Users access the Social Security Online Service and then the e-Clic, where they can consult relevant information on Social Security matters and, if this is not sufficient, it is possible to send electronic communications through a structured form. The electronic relationship is thus standardised and dispersion across several institutional mailboxes is avoided.

Users will be able to register requests for information or clarification, or even report a complaint on Social Security themes. By describing the theme that you need to deal with Social Security, indicating the life event (e.g.: child and family benefits), the subject and the reason, you register your request and may attach the documents that are necessary for the respective examination. At the end, you get the registration number of your request, being able to track its status and all the interactions concerning it.

This measure is part of the Social Security Digital Transition Programme, which represents an investment of EUR 200 million, within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, and its priority objectives are to facilitate the relationship between citizens and Social Security, eliminate bureaucracy and increase the effectiveness of protection.

See how to do it in this demonstration video.
