Instituto de Informática advances with the implementation of the Conciliation Management System

Reconciling Professional Life with Personal and Family Life has long been a core value of the Instituto de Informática's People Management Policy.

In this sense, the Institute joined the IGEN – Organizations for Equality Forum in 2019, and following Program 3 on-line signed the Pact for Conciliation, having also submitted an application for a co-financed project (Candidature no. POCI- 05-5762-FSE-000303) with a view to implementing a Conciliation Management System between professional, personal and family life pursuant to NP 4552:2016.

This project started in the last quarter of the year 2021, and the Diagnosis phase is now concluded, where we can count on the contributions of two partner organizations, the ISS and the IGFSS.

The implementation of a Conciliation Management System (SGC) will provide the Informatics Institute with the possibility of identifying and considering the needs and expectations of the main stakeholders, defining and implementing the policies, procedures, programs and practices appropriate to the context of the organization and the profile of its workers.

The Management System for Reconciliation between Professional, Family and Personal Life will be yet another tool to leverage organizational sustainability and social responsibility, promoting the well-being of everyone who works at the Instituto de Informática, promoting the satisfaction of needs and expectations of our partners, citizens and companies, seeking to provide better services
