The Social Security Financial Management Institute, PI (IGFSS – Instituto de Gestão Financeira da Segurança Social, IP) main tasks in the Real Estate Management area are the following:
- To ensure the management and administration of the assets and rights held by the IGFSS and that belong to the Social Security real estate;
- To promote real estate studies and evaluations within the scope of the Social Security system;
- To promote and implement Social Security real estate disposal and rental programmes.

You can search for properties by type (apartments, houses, buildings, warehouses, land, etc.) and by district.
The purchase proposals must be submitted on the IGFSS real estate online platform at www.seg-social-patrimonio.pt, indicating the value proposed in each property for sale advertisement.
In order to submit your purchase proposal, you must make your registration in advance on the electronic platform.
Before submitting a proposal, please read carefully the real estate disposal regulations and consult the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).”
