The Institute

The Social Security Capitalization Funds Management Institute, P.I. (IGFCSS, I.P.) is a public institute within the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security (MTSSS) specialized in asset management.

IGFCSS, I.P. currently manages the Social Security Reserve Fund (FEFSS), the Retirement Certificates Fund (FCR) and the Labour Compensation Fund (FCT). As of this moment assets under management are approximately 23 billion Euros.

LEGAL FRAMEWORK

Juridical Nature: Public Institute, integrated in the indirect administration of the Portuguese State, with administrative and financial autonomy and its own assets.
