Organisational structure
The ISSA, IPRA bodies are the following:
a) The Governing Board;
b) The Statutory Auditor.
a) Governing Board
The Governing Board consists of a chair, a vice-chair and a board member
According to the ISSA statutes, the chair of the Governing Board is equivalent to a regional director, a senior management position of the 1st degree. The Vice-Chair and the Board Member are equivalent to regional sub-directors, a senior management position of the 2nd degree.

b) Statutory auditor
The Statutory Auditor is the body responsible for controlling the legality, regularity and sound financial and asset management of the ISSA, IPRA.
The Statutory Auditor is subject to the legal scheme defined in the Framework Law for Public Institutes.
The Statutory Auditor is appointed by joint order of the Regional Secretary responsible for finance and the Regional Secretary in charge, from among Statutory Auditors or Audit firms.
