Bodies, services and establishments

The ISSM, IP-RAM bodies are the following:

- The Governing Board;
- The Statutory Auditor.

Internal organisation

The internal organisation of the ISSM, IP-RAM is provided for in the respective Statutes, approved by Order no. 17/2017 of 23 January, of the Regional Secretariats of Finance and Public Administration and of Inclusion and Social Affairs, published in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous Region of Madeira no. 15, Series I, of 23 January 2017.

Governing Board

The Governing Board consists of a chair, a vice-chair and a board member, which correspond to senior management positions of the 1st and 2nd degrees, respectively.

The members of the Governing Board are governed by the special scheme of public institutes and are equivalent to public managers for remuneration purposes.

Statutory Auditor

The Statutory Auditor is the body responsible for controlling the legality, regularity and sound financial and asset management of the ISSM, IP-RAM.

The Statutory Auditor is subject to the legal scheme applicable to Public Institutes.

The competences of the Statutory Auditor are defined in the legal scheme applicable to public institutes.
