The Instituto de Informática follows the management-by-objectives model, as determined by the Integrated System for Assessment and Performance of Public Administration (SIADAP), following an annual planning cycle that aims to ensure the strategic and operational planning of the Institute's activity, ensuring the fulfillment of its attributions and control of the activity related to ICT in the MTSSS. For effective management control, a periodic performance monitoring process is implemented, based on regular reporting of the performance levels achieved (both at an operational and strategic level).

The Instituto de Informática's Strategic Plan (PEII) is published every three years and defines the strategic objectives to be pursued and the strategies to be leveraged.

The Evaluation and Accountability Framework (QUAR) contains the most relevant operational objectives (in alignment with the strategic objectives and the defined strategy), the indicators and targets through which the annual performance evaluation of the Institute is carried out.

Integrity and Transparency Plan Integrity and Transparency Plan
The Integrity and Transparency Plan (PIT) monitors the entire management cycle and is the reference for the performance of the Instituto de Informática and its employees in terms of ethical and deontological conduct, promoting the prevention of situations risks of corruption and related offenses and collusion in public procurement.
